Taqaddom Scales is a family-owned company, was established in 1953 in Hebron/Palestine, dedicated to design, development, manufacture and supply of mechanical scales and balances. In 1961, Taqaddom won the (Jordanian Gold Medal) at the Industry and Agriculture Exhibition representing the best industry in both Jordan and West Bank (Occupied Palestinian Territories).

In 1967, the company started producing the first metal storage shelving system (Dixon), then by early seventies a huge range of metal office furniture was commenced including cupboards, cabinets, filing cabinets, lockers, office tables and other models of storage shelving systems for supermarkets and stores.

The production of electronic scales and balances, on a regional level was launched in 1984. Nowadays, Taqaddom is enjoying an excellent reputation in designing and manufacturing electronic weighing systems, covering Palestine, Jordan and Israel.

In mid 1990s a variety of Heavy-Duty Racks (Pallet Shelving System), Medium-Duty (Super-Store) Shelves and Mezzanines were uniquely designed and produced at Taqaddom, providing comprehensive storage systems with the highest safety standards maintaining great flexibility and attractive appearance.

Taqaddom continues its commitment to innovations and quality excellence and to providing advanced solutions to its expanding customer base.  Using the latest CNC technology in punching, bending and laser cutting machines, the finest metal book-shelving systems are designed and manufactured by Taqaddom. Our products are proudly displayed in Public and University Libraries, Governmental Institutions and Pharmaceutical companies. In 2004, Taqaddom founded Palestine’s distinguished Center for Calibrating Scales, Balances and Standard Weights. CTC is an ISO/IEC-17025 Accredited and Independent Center, providing calibration services to all sectors in Palestine.
